Any idea how to fix this? I removed Vundo from this computer and now I get this lovely message. I have even scanned this machine with the PE recovery disk and it comes up clean, but when I scan it with KAV it tells me that it is infected itself? What should I do? This in on a 2000 Pro machine with SP4 installed. Take a look at the attatchment for my best explanation.

Looks strange - did you update your w2k with latest security patches and which version/build of KAV do you use?

Also it could be possible that it is a fals/positive dection but i don't think so because this should be gone after doing another update.

Version 6.0.3.837 for KAV and windows is updated. I also removed Java when I removed Vundo, then reinstalled the latest version of that.

Very strange... best thing to do is to do a right click on the detected file and send all infos to Avert-Labs for analysing.
