i usually remote access my server (windows 2003 server 64-bit) with the drives in local resource mode, but after installing kaspersky when i tried to copy the content of my computer to the server through the remote desktop connection. the system halted with stop BSOD error. i tried it again and again thinking it may be due to something else but everytime the BSOD error came up. then i disabled kaspersky and tried to copy my datas to the server, it worked. so i guess that the error was due to kaspersky. what may be the problem? can any one help. the kaspersky technical team are still in their vacation mad.gif .... so anybody else please help

hi,
try to temporarily disable Self-Defense feature before attempting to copy those data.

Hello,

First I advise you to create a GSI report and see if driver of the network card can be updated.
Then you can try to uncheck Kaspersky NDIS Filter in the properties of the network connection and see if it helps.
If yes, you can reinstall the AV product without the NDIS filter.

Regards,
Damien

What is the version of kaspersky Anti-Virus?
dsweeney
Not sure this will help but....

We're running EE v6.0.0.454 on Windows 2000 server 32-bit which would blue screen on klif.sys at start up. Same issue even after applying critical fix 1. Found out that if we disabled the on demand scan at start up everything worked fine.

We never met BSoD with FSEE 454 on Windows 2000 SP4 RU1. Th matter might be in specific hardware coniguration that can't be easily reproduced. Please, could you provide KL support with memory dump? Thank you in advance
