uh... is this a general problem again? two different costumer got black.lst missing or corrupt after update right now.... just coincidence?
We too are receiving this on about 35 workstations... I've tried reinstalling, updating, etc...
i have a customer with the same problem. then show avp.exe error. then tells me to run updater which it will not do. and then puts up the failed to launch screen. then just starts the same sequence over again.
edit: SRF# 128012 opened... lets wait.
Did some one found a solution??
My customer said about 150 machines freezes right after receiving "black.lst missing" popup.

Getting the message here also. Sure wish Kaspersky would get this problem fixed. Been fighting the problem now for 5 days. My request for the "fix utility" is still unresolved. Very disappointed.
Anyone get any answers on this? Still waiting for support contact..

In my case, customer had to uninstall Kaspersky from Windows Safe Mode... computer freezes right after "black.lst" missing popup, which pops up right after windows startup....
He can't start any task, not even get a screenshot.

Same here. Admin Kit is absolutely useless because the client is left in such a bad way.
Twice in six days is absolutely amazing. We've had the product installed less then two weeks and EVERY user we have knows the name of the product, and not in a good way.

Try this, it worked for several of my customers:
Go into the Admin kit
Under Global tasks create a new update task
Wrk station av - Updater - Choose only Kaspersky labs servers for the source
Run the task for the affected computers.
When the update is complete you should be ok.

The machines I have been working on will not accept an update pushed from the server. The fix supplied by support on the update issue starting Thursday will fix this issue also.

You may still have the black.lst problem after you apply the fix. I found the only way to get it fixed was as I indicated, by telling the workstations to get the update from the web rather than the server. It seemed to take the update in this format from the admin kit and continue on.
any update on this issue.my client's 500 machines are showing this error and they are driving me crazy plzzzzz someone help.they cant even create an update task b'coz it gives the message 'this task is not permitted'

hi there,
which version are you working with? if it's not the latest one, pls try to update it. Have you tried to completely empty your Bases folder then to "populate" it once again?
Bye

version number?
If you're working with latest build, i think that the faster way to fix your problem is to collect some tracing files of updater module as explained
here and to send them to support@kaspersky.com (of course you can also open a ticket on the helpdesk..

)
Hope this helps
