Typically what you do is create a folder in the Group section below, and then drag n drop your Computers from the Network section in to this new folder in the Groups section. You're in effect assigning these computers to this folder. You can have folders auto install Network Agents and Antivirus to computers contained within them, which you can't do in the Network section.

Eventually you'll have all your computers in an appropriate Group folder, and any new PC's detected on the network will be the only ones that appear under Network section, at which point you can assign them to a Admin Server by dragging and dropping them.

I'm not sure i understand

i have master administration server and a slave

let say i have a computer called "aaa" and i assign this computer to a group in the salve server

now in the master server i keep seeing this computer "aaa" in the domain:network as an unassign computer because it is not assign to any group in the master server .

i have about 60 computer that a divided into both servers 30 each and i keep seeing on each server in the domain:network

as unassignd the computers from the other server..

i need to chek each time if the computer realy new one or he is apart of the other server

Try to scan only required domains/IP subnets for the master and slave server. That way you'll see only required computers for the master/slave.

Setting the " scan only required domains/IP subnets for the master and slave server. That way you'll see only required computers for the master/slave." is a good idea and will work fine if you only have desktop pc's that will not go to the slave site.

I have the same problem as we have about 20 slave servers (1 in each site) and when a laptop user turns up in that office it gets detected as a new pc and is not protected(red icon and -/- next to it), as I dont think the agents from one server can talk to a diffrent server.
Does any one know how to get around that problem?
