Where in the admin kit policies do I unlock updating so that users can click on the "update now". Right now, it just gives a message "updating is controlled by the administrator". I want laptop users to be able to do their own updates if they need to. Thanks

I also facing same problem. I still don't know how to solve this issue yet.
But when I reinstall after completely remove existing Kaspersky Workstation, I found that they appear.

Still studying how to do, I leave some client for test but I add "update" in individual client task for my usage.

Try this way,maybe it is easy to resolve this problem.

Check the package in Remote install of Kaspersky Administrtion Kit.

Double click the package of workstation and go to Properties table.Choose Update in Task to be installed.

Then reinstall the workstation useing this new package.
