I have KS 5.5.1000 for MS Exchange Server 03 and KAV 6.0.3.830 SVR installed on a DC, and im getting lots of detections in my admin kit.

Basically, it seems like KAV SVR is finding lots of viruses in the "C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\Queue" folder, even though policy tells it not to scan that folder at all (Folder has been added to trusted zone).

So my admin kit is throwing up lots of these
-----------------------------------------------------------
Disinfection impossible
Severity: Critical
Application: Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers
Version number: 6.0.3.830
Task name: Quarantine
Computer: SVR01
Group: DC
Time: 20 November 2007 13:38:55
Description: Quarantine: File C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\Queue\NTFS_1f48af4201c82a9a00000152.EML//[From banke21@hotmail.com][Date Mon, 19 Nov 2007 10:51:42 +0000]/UNNAMED//html: is still infected, write not supported.

------------------------------------------------------------------

And in the meantime, I cant get KS 5.5 to tell me anything (BTW currently set to Redundant Anti Virus Protection - delete entire message with infected, no exclusions).

Would really appreciate some insight.

Thanks

Thats's normal that your FileServer finds Viruses in the que because i think you 1st installed the FileServer and afterwords the Exchange - right?!

If you install 1st Exchange and then FileServer the FS will automatically exclude the folders.

Just exclude the exchange folders you mentioned in the FS real-time-protection and also all databases... thats it!
