Greetings,
I'm evaluating workstation & server 6.0 version with administration and agent tools.
I've noticed that, when a workstation send emails, on SMTP server's log, the EHLO command give 127.0.0.1 instead the real ip address.
Sniffing network i obtain:
SMTP Command: EHLO [127.0.0.1]
Our antispam server is very restrictive with localhost address.
Is there any way overwrite the EHLO command?
Thanks in advance.

Noone knows how this works? Even Kas business office is ignoring my request.
Hello,
In the properties of your Administration Server, in the notification tab, click on the parameter (or setting) button.
Did you fill this part ? It's important to specify an email address authorized to send an email through your SMTP server.
Perhaps it can help.

Thanks for the answer, but this doesn't solve my problem.
The (wrong) EHLO response is not coming from Administration panel, but from every workstation & server running 6.0 Kav antivirus.
So inside mail server log, I can see all machine EHLOing "127.0.0.1".
Quite ugly IMHO.
Regards.
In this case i'm sorry but I don't know. Perhaps this IP address is hard coded in the product...
BTW I'm interested by the solution.
