Hi!
I have Administration Kit 6.0.1565 installed on a Windows Server 2003 R2.
I can't seem to install the agent in one of our computers as you can see by the screenshot i took, the computer at hand is the one selectec in the screenshot.
I do the deploy it works fine, it says it was installed but it never shows as if it was installed in the console.
Any clues ?
Cheers!
Can you find this computer under network:domain with the same name-1?

Yes, as you can see by this screenshot.
Hi silvatomas,
please run the klnagchk.exe utility to the computers with problems..
and see if there are errors..

New update...
wicked, i ran the program you suggested, it all went ok.
The machine i was talking about was not near me, so only today i got time to go over to it, and was astonished as the AV+Agent is installed and updated. So the only problem is that in the Admin Kit it appears with a -/-, meaning it has no agent nor AV.
Any clues why it doesn't appear in the Admin Kit ?
Cheers!
Check your remote-install paket of the Network Admin i think it has the name of the AdminServer included and you've a DNS problem.
Try to reinstall the Agent and before change Name of AdminKit (in NEtwork Agent paket) to the IP.

Ok.
Using klmover.exe i tried to change the Admin Kit address to the IP, but it gave me file corrupted (SS_PRODINFO.xml) or something... i uninstalled both Agent and AV from the computer. Removed Kaspersky dir from Common Files.
Reinstalled agent... OK, agent shows installed in the Admin Kit.
But now when i'm deploying the AV, after it copies the files to the computer, etc... it gives me this error:
Failed
Severity: Error
Application: Kaspersky Administration Kit
Version number: 6.0.1565
Task name: Deploy WinWorkstation 6.0.2.690 (3)
Computer: AEG31_ASSLXLOJA
Group: AEGLISBOA 6.0
Time: quarta-feira, 21 de Novembro de 2007 14:04:18
Description: Network Agent's task failed: Failure opening file to be stored in cabinet
Any ideia for a solution ?
Cheers and thanks for all the help wicked and Defekt!

Ok, problem solved.
Just downloaded a newer package from Kaspersky website, created the remote package, installed, OH YEAH!
Everything seems fine, just waiting for the hot chick on that computer to reboot it

Thanks for all the help!!!!
btw. Klmover.exe is a tool to change the AdminServer.
Means: If you wanna connect your client machine to another AdminKit you use the klmover.exe tool.
To change the Name of the AdminServer into the IP in your remote-instalalltion package you've to go
into the properties of your remote insallation package and change it directly there. Afterwords you've to
re-deploy the Agent to be sure that your client (NEtwork Agent on the client) now has the IP-Address instead
of the Name!
