Full Version: Updater - Network Error

We have a Windows Small Business Server 2003 network, with each Workstation having AV 6.0.2.690.
On one WS the updater is getting network errors, for the last 3 days. Before that it was working well.
no configuration has chnged here.
I have tried manual updating, selecting the region (not auto).
an example is: network error http://dnl-jp2.kaspersky-labs.com/6/u0607g.xml

but it tries many servers all with the same result.

other workstations and the server all update correctly.

any ideas?

Do you use the AdminKit?

Do you use a proxy server?

Can you activate the copy function on one another client and change the update path to this client.

Thanks Helmut, a good suggestion re copying. I have not used the Admin kit or proxy server.

On one workstation it started updating correctly from the Kaspersky ftp servers for no apparent reason.

On another workstation I set the updater to a shared folder on the server, and this fixed it. I will set all workstations to this method of updating now, as it seems to be more reliable, and is more efficient.
