I'm currently using server version 6.0.2.690 on a Windows 2003 server with the latest patch. When I connected to a computer that is infected by a virus (Win32.Autorun.ts) by mapping a network drive to that computer, my computer executed the auto.exe in the root directory of the infected computer thro the autorun.inf file. Even though my computer had the antivirus program running, it was still infected. My collegue has another antivirus program installed and it did catch that virus and didn't execute the infected program.
My question is whether it is a known problem for this version of program or was there some setting I need to change in order to avoid this in the future.
Thanks in advance.
