Hi,
I have read about hierarchy master-slave (http://support.kaspersky.com/ak6mp1/tech?qid=200967107).
But is it possible to do something like 'load balancing' with AK?
What I mean - first situation:
- client always connects first to master AK
- master AK is not available (doesn't matter why)
- client have slave (backup) servers list, and tries to connect to the slave (backup) server and get policies and updates.
Second situation:
- client have multiple server addresses
- in random choose AK server
- if this AK server is not available, selects second server, and so on...
If I understand, one client can have only one address of AK server, but I would like to connect one client to multiple servers (and servers will be connected with master-slave hierarchy). Is this 'load balancing' possible to do with AK 6?
Why it is necessary? I have to shutdown current AK server for about 1-2 weeks, return damaged hardware and when I get it back reinstall full system and all its applications. I would like to move AK function to another backup server for this time.
I know, that I can create a task to change AK address to all workstations, but not all workstations are currently connected (eg. laptops). So it is not a solution.
