Full Version: How to stop Kaspersky from deleting legitimate emails

Hi to all,
I am a new Kaspersky user so please excuse me if the answer to my question is obvious. I think Kaspersky is probably the best software of its type on the market, but I have a problem. I run a small business and frequently the anti-spam deletes legitimate email before I get a chance to read it, this is not so bad, at least the anti spam is working but there doesn’t seem to be a way to undelete a deleted message if its actually legit, sure you can change the settings for a particular sender and place them on the white list, but wouldn’t it be simpler to have the message go to a staging area where it can be retrieved if there was a mistake.

At the present I have to contact the sender and ask them to resend after altering marking as Not Spam and adding to white list

Is there an easier way?

Regards

Rascal

You must move SPAM message to a specific folder in your email client, it's not advised to delete them directly as you can have false positive like yo described.

Open Outlook, and create a SPAM folder first.
Then click on the configuration button in the Anti-Spam toolbar.
For Spam and Probable Spam, select the option "Move To" and choose the SPAM folder created before.

Hope it will help you.
