I have a problem with Kaspersky Internest Security 6, for some reason when i try to open the main console, either via right clicking the icon on the task bar or via start>Programme etc, i get the egg timer shortly followed by a minimised KIS 6 bar appearing on the left hand side of the task bar, clicking on it has no affect. I have carried out a repair procedure using the CD and that did nothing, I can still access the software, in order to update & scan etc, but for some reason i cannot seem to get the main console up, the other strange thing is that settings state that protection is on but just above exit in the task bar pop up it says " resume protection", i have carried out virus & spyware checks and all "appears" to be clean, any ideas please ?.

Do you use remote controle software ?
