i am using kaspersky IS 7.0 but after installation network is blocked and workgroup computer is not shown in network place under windows xp prof.

i disable firewall but still the same problem is occur

any solutions please reply

Same here (KIS7). I had two XP Prof PCs connected by crossover cable, and could not "browse" the Workgroup computers (although I could create "Network Places" of shared folders). Thinking a router would fix it, I recently changed to a router, but still the same. I removed KIS firewall, but still the same. I can only browse the network (Network Places | View Workgroup Computers) if KIS is completely uninstalled - hardly satisfactory.

Could Kaspersky please advise on settings, (if any), or fix it in the next version?
