Hello Kaspersky,

I am a Windows Application developer. We have a client application that runs on Windows machines, and a server application that runs on a remote server across the internet.

The client makes a tcpip connection to the server application, and sends an HTTP formatted message. A response is sent by the server application down the same connection to the client application.

Recently, we have been seeing some strange behaviour where the message being sent by the server is being received back by the server. The client was never receiving the message.

We traced the problem to machines that had Kaspersky AntiVirus installed.

Please could you advise me as to whether there is a way to have our messages pass through your network scanning without having to add the application as a trusted app to the antivirus program? Is the network monitor analysing the message or does it block them all ? How are other programs running unhindered by default e.g. firefox, msn messenger?

many thanks,
Lee.

Why can't you add this application in trusted zone ? you have developped this application, it's safe to trust it I think.
Anti-Hacker component can block such requests, what protection level have you set ?
Others programs have specific packet rules filtering with predefined rules (browser, messenger, ...).
