I installed a trial version of Kaspersky 5.5 Security for Exchange 2003.
Anti-virus seems to be working withouy any problems. The anti-spam module though doesn't find any spam. I suppose this may have something to do with not using SMTP to retrieve mails from our ISP. I don't like it, but in our company we simply have to use het pop3-connector for picking up mail. Using SMTP here is impossible because our cable company simply does not allow us to. We can only use their SMTP server for sending our mails, our incoming mails must be retrieved by pop.
Is it possible to use pop3 in combination with the Kaspersky Security? I hope so, especially because, even when you use the pop3-connector, SMTP is used to pick up the mails from a local folder and send them to het Exchange mail database.
