We have recently introduced Kaspersky to our network.
Version kav6.0.2.690 I believe. This runs on our Windows 2003 SBS server and is admin-tool-kit installed to around 10 PCs, some running XP some running Vista.
We're seeing an issue on the Vista machines where the machine will stick at the Windows 'Welcome' screen after logging in.
I see a variety of posts on this issue but can't determine the correct course of action.
We're seeing this on a non-RAID PC with this motherboard: Gigabyte GA 965GM-S2 Socket 775
And also on an Apple PowerBook which has Vista installed on it via Apple BootCamp.
A restore worked on the PowerBook but not the PC. I've seen it occur on other PCs in the network too.
Solutions anyone? Cheers,
Dean.
Btw this motherboard has an Intel G965+ ICH8 chipset, and the HDD is connected to the onboard GIGABYTE GBB36X RAID Controller (but not in RAID mode), which is effectively a JMicron JMB36X RAID solution.
Even it has something to do with the RAID etc, this doesn't explain the PowerBook issues.
Im facing the same problem... any solution yet???
