I will preface this by saying I don't know much about SQL server.

Trying to install Admin Kit on a Server 2003 SBS machine. I added a SQL Server instance called Antivirus via the MSDE2000 download provided by Kaspersky before running installation of admin kit. SQL server Manager shows it is running. I ran the Admin kit install and selected local user logon since we don't have a domain running. I used the browse button to select my MS SQL server which did show up as a choice. On the next screen I chose Windows Authentication, returns error "Cannot connect to selected MS SQL Server". I also tried choose MS SQL Authentication and putting in the logon/password credentials for the account I was logged in under, also said the same message. I could really use some pointers here in figuring out why it won't connect to a server that appears to be running.

Try to use MSSQL 2005 Express Edition, which is a scaled back version of Microsoft SQL Server and also for free.
