Just thought I would post a message about a problem with KIS and Outlook. This may well have been mentioned before but I haven't read anything concerning this so just in case.

After installing KIS some of the mail in the mail folders will fail to open in the reading pane with the message "This message with restricted permission cannot be viewed in the reading pane until you verify your credentials. Open the item to read its contents and verify your credentials"

The messages will also fail to open when clicked.

This is due to the messages being digitally signed or encrypted. To work around this select Tools->Options in the Outlook menu and select the "Mail Anti-Virus" tab. Deselect the "Scan when Read" check-box and apply the settings.

Mail will now be able to be read.
