Hi, what is the main difference between Kav4Samba and Kav4Fs?

Instaled in a Samba Server, both seem to work equal. With both, I can save Visrus files into a shared folder, but I can't read them.

Thanks.

KAV for File Server contains kernel module named KAvMonitor that checks any mounted FS
KAV for Samba contains Samba-filter via VFS that filter & check only Samba shares.

Just for understanding...
Can both of them be installed in the same system? So KAV for File Server checks all filesystems, while KAV for Samba checks only Samba shares, is it right (such as KAV for Windows Server and, I don't know, KAV for Exchange)?
For VFS, do you also mean NFS protocol?

Thank you so much.

yes. but it very expensive. you can install only kav4fs which will be scan _any_ fopen/fclose operation on you server.

no. VFS mean special modules which may be loaded by samba itself. for example trashcan (working like win32), AV vfs plugin, etc...
