I have the same problem too:

- File does not exist on update source: /bases/blst/blst-0607g.xml
- Error updating component CORE
- Task completed, license verification failed.

I guess one of the recent updates has messed things up. I hope it is corrected soon.

The same over here !

Our Master-Server receives Updates from Kaspersky Internet Update Servers,
but (from this morning) different Clients cannot update ( Task failure 'License verification failed' ).

We got a Commercial License File (Limit 5500) Expiration 05\28\2008 and round about 4500 active KAV6.0 Clients !

What happend there ?

THX

Baz^^
There was a problem with the Kaspersky update servers so the license could not be verified. The update server should be working now.
Kirbiz
I still have the problem, license verification failed.

Unfortunately the problem still exists. blst-0607g.xml is still missing...
Baz^^
Website is stating "The issue has now been solved, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused." wacko.gif
Baz^^
Please follow these instructions if it is still not working:

http://www.kaspersky.com/support/wks6/error?qid=193239335

or if it is just the one machine, Manually download the blst-0607g.xml and black.lst from KL ftp server, disable <<self defense>>, exit Kaspersky and replace the file in the appropriate folder. Then restart Kaspersky.
(e.g. Get files from here or other KL update server: http://dnl-eu5.kaspersky-labs.com/bases/blst/)

Copying these two files from another PC that hadn't tried to update today to the following folder on the admin server solved the problem.
