Hello,

You can try the patch from this thread, perhaps it can help.

Besides I have nearly the same problem, I use Microsoft Outlook 2003 with several mailboxes connected using IMAP SSL protocol and sometimes I've some slowdown even some freezes, but I think it's due to Outlook which is not optimized.

DB

This patch is for MS Outlook 2007.
My problem is not with Kaspersky 5.0.712 only with the new version 6.0

I'm having the problem with MS Outlook 2002 and Kaspersky 6.0 for Windows Workstation. Does anyone have a solution to this problem as Outlook is freezing 10-20 times per day.

What a wonderful solution. How about I uninstall Kaspersky and Outlook alltogether. Surely then Outlook won't freeze again. Seriously I don't want to disable Anti-Spam because I get loads of loads of spam and having KAV remove most of them is just bliss... when it's working that is. So I'm in desperate need of a fix here!!!

We can disable anti spam on workstation, because we are using anti spam on central server mail.

But it is not a solution. It is a solution temporary happy.gif

I am new to Kaspersky and this forum. Like the prior poster, I am having problems with Outlook 2002 and Kaspersky. I think I inadvertantly denied access to Outlook when a Kaspersky notification came up.

How do I check what websites or programs are denied access in Kaspersky? It was so easy in Norton, but I cannot find it in Kaspersky.

I am also having this problem with Kaspersky v6 and Outlook 2003. It appears to be closely related to the spam mechanism (only freezes when I use it.)
