Hi all,

suddenly, i am getting a red cross, and this message "Real time protection is not entirely enabled" in my Kaspersky anti virus.

This is the first time i have seen this message come up, and it has appeared out of the blue.

Can anyone tell me why this setting has changed please and how i can remedy it.

i am on windows 2000, and Kasperskey Anti virus for windows workstations, 5.0.527

I have the recommened settings set in the configure real time protection box, and in network, enable real time protection is ticked in the box.

Do i need to download a new version of the windows workstation? if so, i cant seem to find where?

Newest v5 workstation is 5.0.712, available here.

I seem to recall one of the more recent versions did stop pestering you about 'Real time protection is not entirely enabled', so probably worth upgrading.
