Hey dudes

hope you guys fine!

As a newbie I sucessfully installed the kaspersky antispam engine on a unix pc, and integrated it to the postfix mail server that my client is using. But there still some doubts that i would like you guys to help me:

1. on the control center monitoring I have an error related to The Anti-Spam Engine which says Monitoring & Statistics is not in contrab: dologs.sh, dograph.sh, logrotate.sh, sfmonitoring, udsrtts.sh.

I think the Control Center is supposed to create a graphic or something to help out on the auditing.
the ap-process-server is OK
ap-mailfiter is OK
ap-sptd is OK
kas/thttpd is OK to


2. When i configure the updates for 20min I apply the settings but seconds later the CC tells me that they are DISABLED

3. On the statistics, doesnt figure out any message or bites (I think its supposed to display some numbers)

And how can i know if this is tottaly integrated with the postfix

The clients say that at least the dont get many spam as they did before (I configured some parameters, trusted, e-mails, white and black lists).


Can you help me on this one? Its a bit urgent.

What the OS?
Did you try to run /usr/local/ap-mailfilter3/bin/enable-updates.sh ?

yes I did sorry for the late reply,
I did and it wont work either. i did that and tried to respart on /usr/local/ap-mailfilter3/bin/kas-restart. but java script:emoticon(':(').

the OS is Linux version 3.1.4

SuSE Linux 9.0 thats the OS!!!
