I am trying to setup Administrator Kit 6 with Workstation 6 on a series of WindowsXP machines. Since this is a small office setup I have used the complex groups of Desktops and Laptops. Right now just trying to get a few desktops to work with polices.

As I understood their operation, it was possible to set the complete configuration of Workstation 6 on the AdminKit (trusted networks, firewall settings, proactive defense, etc) on a universal basis and then have that configuration distributed on each computer in the group. Is this correct? Not correct?

I have such a policy setup in the Desktop and Laptop directory and have the policy active. The policy does contain several trusted network settings in the Anti-Hacker Zone setup. I installed Workstation on a computer via Remote Install and made sure that the policy is Defined and Enforced on each computer in the group (currently one). However, the computer does not have the trusted network settings installed, as well as others.

Am I understanding this correctly? What is/are the problems? Many thanks!

Hello,

First you should verify if the policies was created for the correct Kaspersky Lab products.

You can lock all the settings to prevent any changes from the user.

After modyfying the policy, try to force synchronization in the administration console (right click on host > Synchronize) and see if the settings are well applied on the client computer.

DD
