We appear to be under attack from VanBot.AX. Can't seem to find out much about this.

Our comms department are saying that the routers on our remote sites are approaching 100% utilisation and are pointing the finger at this virus. We have identified a small number of PC's that never were updated to Kaspersky when we moved to the product and have subsequently become infected. These have now been updated and cleaned.

I am not sure that the blame can be soley (if at all) put on VanBot as we have been aware of it's existance on our sites for nearly 3 weeks now and it is only in the past few days we have had an issue.

Anyone experienced this virus and it's effects.

Sorry, but I doubt anything I posted will get close.

Good luck though, all the same with this malware. Nothing I found is very helpful. Too many variables involved with that one.

Hopefully some one can help though.
