Hi,

Some of the PCs in my network are laptops without a permanent connection. This PCs connect via GPRS/3G to the VPN, they are assigned dynamic IPs. They aren't listed in any DNS server and aren't in the AD Domain. I already added the subnet IPs in the console. I noticed that the status of this machines is not correctly updated in the Administration console. Usually it happens like this:

A PC connects via modem, I can ping it, but it appears as disconnected in the console and the IPs in the console are not updated. If I force a connection from the host (i.e. using the klnagchk) or if I wait enough I see it as connected, and I can synchronize, but the IPs are still outdated. When the host disconnects it appears as connected in the console for a long time, of course if I try to syncronize it fails, but it still seems connected.

Is this a bug with the administration kit/agents? There is any way to manually change the IPs?

Ip addresses of the hosts in the AdminKit is for information purposes only. You can use 'Connection IP' instead. It is the address of the host that was used to connect to AdminKit server.
