Has anyone had problems on an IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad
defekt
No problems till now with IBM Thinkpad's !!

Only problem that can occur can be a pre-installed Symantec AV - in this case you've to use the Symantec Removaltool to get rid of the rest of the installation after normal deinstallation.

I don't have Symantec AV but if I hybernate or if I try to logon after the screensaver kicks in the machine cannot startup. I have a blank screen.
Any ideas why??

Hello... I am having a big problem...... I own a new (march) ibm x-60 happy.gif thinkpad tablet top. I recently removed symatec from my system & installed KAV 7.0 . the tablet has touchscreen & pen interface as well as keyboard and mouse. When the tabwlet is in tablet mode the cusrur will not phsically go over any kaspersky related items, (screens, windows, pop up warnings) The cuser will go around any of these items and bump into the edge but not over them in order to interface . They can be accessed by switching the tablet back to notebook & using the built in mouse or the blue tooth mouse but not the pen or touchscreen. this is unacceptable to us because our notebooks in tablet mode is in a protective sleeve and we have to remov it from the case to access KAV 7 then put it back in case...We want to switch all our computers to KAV 7 from symatec but cannot proceed at this point.

You need to disable "Self Defense" in the "Service" option.

KAV/KIS 7.0 is a product for Home Users. If you want remote administration via AdminKit you need to have "KAV 6.0 for Windows Workstations" installed.
