I just install the administration kit on my server and first issue oocurs: my server is in an DMZ and we normally install manually the netagent manually.

In the 5.0.1152 version I had the possibility to put as server adress their IP or resolvable name.
In the new version, no chance: as default like before the name of the workstation appears, and I can choose a browsable server on the network.

=> Most of my PC are never in the office, but are arround the world. The only chance to connect them is to put an IP or resolvable name.

As next, I try to install the new agent on one PC from the Admin kit, which PC is already running the agent 5.0.1152 => don't work.

...install AdminKit and got to RemoteInstallation --> choose Agent package --> doubleclick and enter IP Adress for Agent. After this push agent to wanted client machines.
In AdminKit 6 you've also a policy for mobile-clients - exactly what you need

May be I don't have the right version because in the deployment task, I have the following choices:

* Installation on administration group (then I need to choose a group)
* Select computer -> then I don't have the menu like before (select by IP or by name), and I have only to choose the PC ....

Please choose Tasks->New Task->Product deployment task

Don't work in the version 6.0.....

And this also don't solve the point: the WS is not in the console, and I want to install it the netagent.

correct --> WKS 6.0 didn't work with AdminKit 5.0, you're even not able to implement the plugin for WKS60 with klcfginst.exe

This means for your --> backup your AdminKit 5.0 with backup-task, save certificates extra and deinstall AdminKit 5.0.
By installation AdminKit 6.0 afterwords use the certificate of AdminKit 5.0 and restore your backup --> that's it!

btw. "mobile user" is a policy!

In both cases, this don't work:

* manuel lunch of kasp6.0.1405_netagentmsien.exe: I can put the IP or resolvable name of my server

* From the admin console, I can't send the files to a WS which has not the old agent (before to update to admin kit 6, I had a task in which I choose the WS by IP and could deploy the netagent, and then the kav for WS).

This is screenshot from AdminKit 6.0.1405. You can choose computers by IP here.

Sorry but in my version (French one), I don't have this possibility.
When I choose "select computer" instead of "select the goup", I can get directly all the group where I can choose a computer. There is no IP possibility.
