We need this informtion to decide on which SQL server the database should be installed. thx!

We've currently got around 300 clients and our DB size is 500Mb.
Hi,
The maximum database size of MSDE is 2GB, and 1 Administration Server can support up to 10 000 hosts.
In fact, it depends of the quantity of settings (hosts, task, policies) to save.
I think you can safely envisage 2Mb for your database.

DB
Hello,
the database would be running on SQL Server 2005. So would you think 2GB should be enough. How often is the AdminKit writing/accessing the database? Just when there is a new PC, or when I change policy/tasks? Or reglulary?

AdminKit updates database regularly every time client connects to the AdminKit server. All current information about antivirus protection status on the clients is stored in the database. The greatest database table is table where events are stored. It's around 1K of data per event, so in case you have 500000 events in the database, the database size would be around 500 MB.
