I am running a small network within a large network. The administrative kit is polling the entire network which not necessary or desired. Is there an easy way to limit polling to my small network or turn polling off?

1) Create subnet for your local network in the Network node (Network->View Subnets -> New subnet). Your network segment subnet should be already created there, you may wish to limit entire segment to smaller IP interval.

2) Disable detailed scanning for all 'foreign' domains in the Network -> Domain -> Properties.

You can also disable scanning Windows network completely. See

Kaspersky Administration Kit 6 MP1 will have possiblity to disable particular kind of network polling in the user interface. This version will be available in the end of February.
