On January 1st, 2007, I got a trial version in English for my new notebook because I did not have the time to rescue the license key from a burned-out harddrive on another notebook.

Today, I was unpleasantly surprised to find the trial version had expired without any warning at all, although it was 30 days later.

Because my computer in Germany is attacked by "HELKERN" every few minutes when on the Internet, I quickly payed 33 Euros for a new license and tried to activate the new code that was given to me.

But it would not let me. I wasted 1.5 hours trying to uninstall the English version and then reinstalling 4 times and the installation would always fail through no fault at all of my own. I was innocent.

Then I finally decided to download the German version. Everything worked perfectly. I entered the new activation code and it worked.

But I was probably attacked 5 times by HELKERN in that 1.5 hours. What can I do to check that?

In particular, the new Kaspersky installation suddenly says that my ASUS/Multiframe.exe has been changed.

Is it possible that a virus came off the Internet while I no longer had Kaspersky operating (I had been given no warning) and this changed my Asus/multiframe.exe program?

What can I do about that?

Which Version/Product of Kaspersky do you use is it a retail version for home user or the Business Optimal Workstation ?? Which Version and build does it has ??

Can you explain what Multiframe.exe is good for - is it a self-updating prog ?
