guys , few machines at my department has prompt with this error. Even reinstalltion doesnt fix it. I see that there is no kaspersky antivirus service entry at SERVICES. Anybody facing with the same problem and has rectify it?

Have you already checked the evntlog of that machine (system & app) ?? Any errors?

It's a different problem actually, I've found out there's a trojan program that is deleting the Kaspersky Service. So even if I try to reinstall, the Kaspersky service will be deleted upon restart. Then I ran HijackThis! and manage to identify some unwanted program and remove them manually.

What's confuse me is, why didn't Kaspersky Stop the trojan from coming in or executing itself? mellow.gif
