we have 5 user licence all the machines are stuck trying to update the database you cannot shut down the updater using the dialog box because when you select Stop the box greys out and nothing happens if you click x you go back to select action which is close the box and carry on updating which it doen,t.
has anyone else had this problem as i say all the machines in the office are in the same state. Closing kaspersky and restarting makes no difference either its just stuck!

Nigel.Yes, I had this problem as well on all my machines. The initial problem occurred on Jan 17-18. See here for a solution. I used method 1 followed by a restart.
