Hello All,

I'm wondering if somebody can help me. I'm new in Kaspersky administration and I'm facing to problem with re-installation of Kaspersky on one of the client, which previously Kaspersky already. However due to XP re-installation Kaspersky is not anymore available on this client.

In the Kasp. Administration Kit I cans still see this client (as the name is the same as before) however when I'm trying to install Kasp. remotely on this client, installation doesn't really go through. It's showing actually that some part are already installed, which is not correct.

Could somebody help me on this one. I know it's maybe stupid question, but I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks.

...you've to search in unidentified computers for your computer name with -1 or -2

this means your machine was still present in the AdminKit database and now the same

name comes with a different SID. Therefore your machine called WORKSTATION was

still there and now you can find the machine as e.g. WORKSTATION-1 under unidentified

machines.

Try to use this machine and it normally should work.

I have found a problem.

In the group (global task) select the task to install the package. Then
select the package properties and in the settings "de-select" the option to "do not install application.

Now it's working.

Thanks anyway
