I'm running KAVWS 5.0.712 and Agent 5.0.1152. I recently deployed to a client's network and everything went smooth. I've done this at about 5 locations using the admin kit.

At this location all of the PCs are still red, with a critical status. The reason it states is:
Anti-virus database is outdated.

I've ran the "Downloading Updates" task and also the "Update anti-virus database and application modules" task. I've even created my own task to update the database but that hasn't worked. They all run successfully but the status is still critical.

The Anti-virus database was created on 11/9/2006, when I deployed the application. But the Last update is 12/6/2006, today.

Is this a problem on the server, not getting updates. I do have 1 PC that is green, their terminal server with FS installed on it.

On all the other sites I installed KAV I never had this problem, usually after a day or so they update automatically and have a green status.

I can synchronize successfully. There are no firewalls in the way.

Thanks,
Andy

hi! check updates, wich is this server have. also, check task of downloading updates to server. is it successful?
Also check, are you have task to download updates from server to clients. and is it successful?

The update task I created for the clients runs as normal (Completed status).

I'm unsure how to check the server update version. I did notice that "Deploy anti-virus database automatically on all clients" wasn't checked in the properties of Updates. I then did a manual download of updates on the server. This is something I haven't had to do yet on any of the other Kaspersky deployments I've done.

Is this something I have to do once a week or should be scheduled? Or should it just work?
