I recently purchased Kaspersky AV for FS and for Workstation. My file server is Linux, running on SMP Opterons, and all of my Linux workstations are 64-bit as well -- so I have to use the latest release, 5.5.19.

Problem: I am not running a distribution that uses RPM or DEB files. I do not see any releases of 5.5.19 in tar.gz format, which I need to install the software.

When will you be releasing the Linux products with the generic installer so that I can use them?

support tar.gz packages is down.
main reason - we cannot claim that it worked on unsupported OS. and we cannot test all distros wich not have rpm/deb packet manager.

Okay, no problem. I got everything working by converting the deb to a tarball and installing that way.
