has anyone experienced performance issue with KAV 6 and PDF documents? I am getting lock ups when scrolling through a PDF document opened in Adobe 7 due to KAV6 scans. Any suggestions on how to fix this ?

Hello
Try to add acrobat.exe to the trusted applications list: settings->trusted zone->trusted applications and check the 3rd option: do not check application activity. See if there's any improvement.

Thanks I will give that a try

I do not have that setting. Is that in the KAV 6. I can only see the file anti-virus and it does not allow for extension or application setting.

I found the list i think in settings\proactive defense\Application Integrity Control\settings\trusted modules

if you are using 6.0.0.30x or 6.0.0.299 then it's in the lower part of the panel
