After installing a new DLT tape drive this morning I had to reboot our server. I always check my event logs after a reboot, and I found a new Kaspersky error I have never had before:
CODE
Database error occured: Code=1950
Subcode=615
Message='Generic db error: "Database error: code = 615, message='Unspecified error', description='Could not find database table ID 2, name 'tempdb'.
Could not find database table ID 2, name 'tempdb'.', source='Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server', GUID='{0C733A63-2A1C-11CE-ADE5-00AA0044773D}', LastStatement='SELECT OBJECT_ID('tempdb..#foo')'"'
File='O:\CS AdminKit\Development2\server\db\ado\db_inneradoconnectionimpl.cpp'
Subcode=615
Message='Generic db error: "Database error: code = 615, message='Unspecified error', description='Could not find database table ID 2, name 'tempdb'.

File='O:\CS AdminKit\Development2\server\db\ado\db_inneradoconnectionimpl.cpp'
Is this a Kaspersky problem or a SQL 2000 problem?
The only thing I see wrong in the above output is the path "O:\CS AdminKit..."
There is no "O:\" drive on the server, but other than plugging in a new cable, nothing else has changed in months. No new software, no other hardware, and server reboots every 7 days...
Does KAV create hidden drives or partitions upon installation? If not, then thats the problem but I have no idea how it would have gotten changed.
Thanks for any help
