trying o run remote setup of the network agent on a Pc part of a workgroup from admin kit the error is:

remote install fail: shared folder \\pc client\admin$ not available. Unable to download the network agent because it's not installed on target host

please use a specified account (workgroup\administrator) for this task not the default account.

I already do that but the error is still the same. It's like I cannot access to admin $ folder of the workstation (I use push install mode)
The error is remote install fail on host: shared folder \\ip address\admin$
not available for the specificed accoutn worgroup name\Administrator

The network is based on a workgroup. Admin kit ver kasp5.0.1152

Using predefined user the error is:
Setup fail on hostshared folder "\\ipworkstation address\admin$" not available: Unable to find name on the network.
OS is windows 2000 pro

check if client pc can access the shared folder

What is the OS of the client?
try to install using the local admin account of the desktop. If the error still occurs please check the network connectivity between the server and the client.

in the deployment wizard instead of selecting "Administration server credentials to access remote computers"
try selecting "Use specified account: Account name, Password, Confirm password"
then click next.....

I've solved installing netagent locally..
Now way to install it from admin kit to workstation.
