Full Version: KIS 2013. Copy Update distribution.

In KIS 2013 update distribution is no more available. it is used by lot of people to back up the database and used on others pc as well .

I am using window xp and Kaspersky internet security 2013 is working well .

I installed KIS 2013 over KIS 2012. When I going through settings then I found that there is no option for Update Distribution. So I am not able to save the Updates on my local HDD... icon20.gif

I also tried the Update utility 2.0 but it also does not support KIS 2013. I am doing lot of experiments so I have to format my computer within 1 or 2 months. Is there any way to save Update files in KIS 2013???

I just upgraded my PC with Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 . In old 2012 version I was using funtion to copy updates to a folder in my another drive to quickly get updated after System format.

But in this kIS 2013 version that option is no more. Please help me how can i do so ?

Welcome. Merged. You can do so by scrolling up to the second post of this topic thread, click link, and see the active topics there. The utility was updated very recently, too.

I have been using Kaspersky products since long time and recently I upgraded from kis 2012 to kis 2013 and the option for saving update definitions is not there. Or is it somewhere else ? I cannot find it. this feature a very useful feature for database backup. So people where is this option or is it removed ?

removed. instead use Kapersky Updater.

Just installed KIS2013 for the first time and can't see the option "Copy update files to a specific folder" in application update settings window. Is that option not available for version 2013 ? please help
