Pure 2.0 keeps crashing with one license issue after another.
I have already created a report with Kaspersky (313981290), but email support is painfully slow for security software that makes me feel insecure - the problem will not go away.
I have multiple times:
Reinstalled Pure 2
Updated databases, stopped kasperskey, restarted kaspersky. It will work for awhile and start crashing again with bad database updates.
Chkdsk /f /r /v c: reports no problems.
I am getting varied reports of bad database updates, corrupted updates, blacklisted licenses and more.
Please, I just want this to work - it used to work. it doesn't. I can't trust Kaspersky anymore and I still have about two years worth of license (wasted?) on five different computers.

Computer Protection > Report > Detailed report > upper right, drop down from Protection center, to Update center > upper right Save > save it somewhere and attach it to your next post.
If the file is too large to upload, then zip it (right click, send to > compressed zipped folder) and upload the zip.
Also, right click the red K tray icon. What is the full build number, including the little letters in the parenthesis?
Also, please re-contact Tech Support and remind them that the issue is ongoing.

Just an update: tech is continuing to work on all of the base level stuff like uploading my logs and running CHKDSK until I turn blue.
I know it's all groundwork.

This license thing is killing me. I feel so unsafe on the internet.

FAIL: I have many dozens of times "fixed" the problem by updating, exiting, restarting Kaspersky Pure 2.x (KP2). Problem returns.
FAIL: I have deleted my license information, rebooted and reapplied my license. Problem continues.
FAIL: I am currently uninstalling KP2 completely and preparing to run the kavremover tool before rebooting twice and reinstalling. I mark this fail because even if this fixes the problem (I don't think it will) this is the WRONG solution.
Biggest fail of all? I am not getting my actual job done because I keep trying to fix KP2.
Curiously.... My license data is still there
I uninstalled KP2 and removed the license file via the uninstaller.
I ran the kav removal tool.
I rebooted several times during the process.
This does not bode well in my mind for fixing the problem.

I feel your pain, brother. I also had multiple failures of ImPure 2 due to license issues. I finally gave up and loaded in Pure 1 for which the license is also valid. Pure 1 has been working flawlessly since I switched back about 2 months ago.
I reverted to the older version before the ImPure 2 Patch C "fix" was released and I have not reloaded the Patch C version. I wasted way too much time trying to get ImPure 2 to work and I have lost confidence in the product.
Since your problem doesn't seem to be going away and unless there are some features of ImPure 2 that are vital to you, I suggest you take a step backward like I did.

Sigh. I may take your advice next week if this continues. I'm now up to a few stable hours.
Even more strange: I have four other computers running KP2 (I have a five computer license for 3 yrs). None of them are currently having problems.

I once was told about Level 2 techs. I was asked to run a deep scan and report back. I did as instructed and haven't heard a word. That was on Monday.
In all of the emails, I asked if all else fails, can I revert back to KIS and I have been told YES. Tonight, I get another email telling me NO, its been over 6 months (2 year renewal for a 5 PC license), and to contact some other company.
I have a brand new build that I can't use because Pure 2.0 won't work. I have Kaspersky washing their hands of the problem.

The ImPure 2 license is valid for older versions of Pure. Here's a link to the KL download for Pure 1, Release 2 which is what I reverted to. It was problem free before I "upgraded" to ImPure 2 and has continued to work fine for the two months since I went back to it.

Sigh. It is back. But this time I had run for a few months without problem. But this morning, within an hour of Microsoft update running the symptom's returned with a vengeance.
I've filed a new report: 314201548 with tech. So we will wait and see what happens.
Unfortunately SOMETHING (not me) turned OFF my system restore so I cannot even roll back the changes.
But here is what MS did to my system this morning if someone wants to take a look.
Here are the 22 patches. One of them has broken Kpure2. I cannot be the only one. Nor can I fix this.
