my kaspersky anti-virus is using up to 50 percent of my CPU at all times and it really hinders the speed at which my computer will run here is my Getsysteminfo link

and clear your temp files: http://support.kaspersky.com/kis2011/error...p;qid=208279128

After the above, please clean install version 2012, it is free with your license period. Instructions: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=67812

You also have a fair amount of entries in the eventlog....one probably connected to you issue: "The speed of processor <value> is being limited by system firmware. The processor has been in this reduced performance state for 4 seconds since the last report."

It would be a good idea to update bios firmware, driver etc. smile.gif
