i got this error when installing kes agent in windows xp

Can you try the installation locally from the share. Login as administrator.

System is Windows 7 Professional.

I have this same issue: Unexpected error registering Network Agent when trying to deploy Network Agent via the Admin Kit on a domain, OR when I try to run it by copying the standalone installation to the local machine.

10 other identical computers have no trouble.

I have tried upgrading the admin to the latest with Critical Fix 1, with Network Agent 9.0.2825, previously installing Network Agent 9.0.2786 with same issue.

Also tried many other things along the way with reboots, installing on local admin account, RipRep, etc.

Installation logs are about 10mbs, and it seems the upload limit here is 300k, so I guess I can't attach them.

I have searched them for the word "error" and researched the errors, but none of them were all that fruitfull. Although the log files are massive. What in particular whould I be looking for (i.e. keywords).

It fails at installing the network agent with a big X before it even attempts to contact the server.

The log files I have are:

Anyone able to help out before I wipe the computer?

I had the same problem with two different workstations. and your recommendation to install directly from the share worked! TY!

Any advice for this issue ? I have the same problem with an XP SP3. I've tried to install NA from az usb drive but does not affect. Actually I'm not able to make NA installed on this machine with any known magic.
