I may have missed a post about this so sorry if this is a repeat.

I have Kaspersky 11 AntiVirus. I am interested in using Mozilla instead of Windows Internet Explorer. I noticed there was a procedure of changeover for Kaspersky Pure, would I need to follow this procedure for Kaspersky 11 Antivirus?

hello
a procedure for what? kav works with firefox just as it does with IE, by default. The same with opera, chrome, safari, chromium, swiron, maxthon and any browser you may think of.

This procedure http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208281419

"Mozilla Firefox does not use Microsoft Windows certificate stores. Therefore in order to check SSL-connections when using Firefox you should manually install Kaspersky Lab’s certificate."

You only need this if you enabled 'scan encrypted connections' in settings>network. It is off by default.
kav 2011 should autoimport the certificate for major browsers at this moment: http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208281926
