hi all i am new to this forum but used kaspersky for awhile, the thing is even though i used it for a while i still dont reallly understand it lol. my problem is i went on a site and it detected this virus/trojan and it says denied but then it also says infected? im not sure if the trojan/virus is still on my computer? can someone help me out please? im new please dont flame thanks!
Welcome. That was blocked, it never made it onto your PC. The little blue "i" icon means that the entry is for informational purposes. The little green check mark next to "Denied" means all is good.
"Infected" refers to the item that was detected and blocked.

hi kaspersky forum once again, i posted about some trojan about a week ago. so my problem this time is that my scanner says that it has 16 threats detected and i think 12 are Legal Products that can be used by criminals.. what i dont get is why cant i see where these files are so i can Update/Delete them? here are some pictures sorry if these are some noob questions. i scanned my computer couple days ago and nothing popped up, and i will scan it tommorow. basically i just want to know if my laptop is protected even though it says 16 threats are detected thanks! and also on detailed reports why does it say My system is not protected "Protection is not running" is there something wrong?
thanks alott!!

Protection not running: If the times of the entries are proximal to the times that you start/shut down the PC, then you can ignore those. If you have nothing in Detected > Active threats, then no worry, either. Same applies to the kernel mode memory patch: Ignore it if there is no concrete specific malware detection.
There may be more specific information in detected > All detected malware.
If you have nothing in Detected > Active threats, then no worry.
