just now i was on the internet and a window popped up that said i was infected, it proceeded to "scan" and detect several "trojans"...i closed the window, assuming it was a scam of some sort, and sure enough a red kaspersky window popped up that said "alarm" and that a trojan had been detected. it said that defection and deletion were not possible, all i could do was skip. this has happened several times recently while browsing the site gaia online.

does this mean a trojan is on my computer that i can't remove?
could it be that my computer is already infected, and that's why this keeps happening?

also, i performed a full scan, and numerous "hidden objects" showed up. are these malicious files? or cookies?

i'm sorry to ask so many questions at once. any help would be greatly appreciated.

sorry, forgot to attach the AVZ log.

Please maximize the window and expand the Result and Object column, so we can see the information.

Threats detected > Active threats. Anything there? If yes, post the screenshot, with the columns expanded; and use the downloaded standalone AVZ utility and attach the zipped virusinfo_syscure.zip; instructions, see: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?s=&am...st&p=678334

here you go...i think this is what you requested. i can't seem to find where threats detected is - i ran a full scan, and it said that no threats were detected. however, i did notice in another window that there was a red exclamation point next to the name of the trojan detected - Trojan.JS.Agent.asl. i posted the screenshot.

thank you, i appreciate the help.

Please do not post any more screenshots that do not have the Object column widened, because such screenshots are of no use, because the needed information is not showing.

Please see the little vertical line that is circled in red in the attached screenshot. Please grab the line with your mouse and drag it to the right, so the full Object information shows.

Also, please find Threats detected > Active threats. Located at: Click the radar thing at the lower right portion of the main Kaspersky window. In the window that opens, there are three tabs near the upper left, with a drop down combobox bar underneath the three tabs. Click on the dropdown bar, and select Active threats. If there is anything there, please post the screenshot. With columns widened to show full name and object details. If there is nothing in Active threats, post back indicating so.

here are several screenshots, hopefully they will be of more use to you. also, i checked under active threats, and nothing was there.

also, i attached the standalone avz thing in my earlier post, in case you need it.

If there is nothing in Active threats, then all is good. Your log looks clean.
