Full Version: Ideas for GSI Parser 3.0 ?

Hi everybody,

I already started to work (on free time so just a little bit wink.gif) on a new parser 3.0.

Actually, lots of features of the current version came from users and I think it should remain like this.
Thus, I decided to open a unique topic which will regroup all ideas, features request, new design, layout,... everything new that you would like to have on web parser 3.0 (not the executable).

Rules are:
  • Open your mind
  • Be creative
  • Think without limits (I'll put the limits myself tongue.gif)

One thing I want to avoid: please, do not simply throw out ideas like "I want a Parser comparison" without any details. Try to develop your ideas as much as possible with screenshots, examples or whatever.
Also, any request for the executable GetSystemInfo.exe will be "rejected" because this topic concerns the web parser only.

This post will be opened one week only. Then, I'll compile everything and announce what will/should be done.

I really hope that great ideas will be posted.

Have a great week-end!

maybe a possibility to put links in it for the users.
For example: If we see a incompatible file we could advise to get rid of it. If the user just clicks on it in the parser he will be redirected to it.

Not sure if this is possible though

Hello Kamille ,

1> Link to update BIOS
2> Content "Sandbox" ( if Kaspersky installed )
3> Scheduled Tasks

4> Unknow
There are often strangers who are discovered by the GSI.
There is a way to know its properties without launching the executable?

Hi Camille,

I'd like to see an option to upload two or more GSI reports simultaneously and have the parser highlight anything that is the same in all logs (Installed apps, version of Kaspersky, OS, Hardware etc) - this would help us with diagnosing major problems.
This is a "lo-fi" version of our main content. To view the full version with more information, formatting and images, please click here.
