I’m having the following problems with my Kaspersky Admin Kit 8.0.2048:

1. The Admin Kit will lock up which will result in me restarting the Server so that I can open the Admin Kit again. This happens about once day or every two days but I can always open the Admin Console after restarting the Server.
2. Backup don’t Run at night. Sometimes when I check the Server in the morning KLserver.exe is not running and sometimes it is running. If not running starting the Service work but if has stalled then I just reboot the Server.

If I restart the klserver.exe and then try to run the backup it works but once the service has been up for a day or more it will not stop in a timely manner.

This is not an upgrade from a previous installation of Kaspersky but a clean install.

I have an open ticket with Kaspersky Technical support but I was hoping that maybe some reading this post has had a similar problem.

My config :
Two Server running Windows Server 2003 sp2 32 bi.
One Server runs that Admin Kit and the other a Full version of SQL 2005.
Both server have gigabit NICs.
Both Server are running on top of ESXi 4.0
Both Server HD images are stored on a SAN, which is connected to the ESXi 4.0, by gigabit iSCSI
