Running Admin Kit 8 with 6.0.3.837 (MP3) on the workstation clients. we had mp4 before that but removed it due to its issues.

everything is working fine except that when editing policies, they apply only to mp4 workstations (Which are no longer here) and not to mp3. Is there a solution?
Helmut
You must install plugin "klcfginst.exe" for version 6.0.3.837 and import the policy for this version. Then the policy will be converted.

we already installed it, deployment and other features worked fine but however when applying policies, they apply only to workstation which have mp4 (number =0) or perhaps we are not doing it the right way... how to import policies for mp3?
Helmut
Right click on your adminserver then "All tasks". Then "wizzard to convert the policy".

You find all infos in Reference Book on page 104.

We did not have admit kit 6.0 before, it is the first time we are using kaspersky, so when I get to step 4 at page 105 in the reference book there is no policy present for conversion blink.gif

Did you install "klcfginst.exe" from 6.0.3.837 on the server running AdminKit?

Yep... we installed the plugin before because we were unable to monitor properly the mp3 workstations, everything is available. we are only having issue with the policy.
Tybilly
That's probably because the policy you have created is not for the right version of KAV.
Create a new policy and in the program list select "KAV for Windows Workstations" and not "KAV for Windows Workstations MP4"

In fact in the policy menu when clicking on "create a new kas....for windows workstations policy", there is no option to choose for which application(mp3 or mp4). However when clicking directly "Create a new policy", the option appears, a simple thing rolleyes.gif .

Thanks a lot everything works now laugh3.gif
